Simms slid the cell door shut as soon as he had removed Ice from it. In truth, he had no real interest in her, and so he did as he said he would and walked her to the next cell over, where Juno and Cecilia had been just a couple hours prior. The room was still wet, and the mattresses would probably remain that way for the rest of the night, but Simms didn't seem to worried about that as he placed her in, keeping her back to the cell door as he closed it, then reached in to remove the handcuffs. He had already walked away by the time she would turn around, but Pam offered a wave from the cell across the way, even if her face clearly displayed how horrified she was.
Simms returned to Kate next, crouching down to take her hand to unlock the cuffs. Instead, he brought her left hand down to the ground, held her wrist, and brought his heel down hard on her fingers. "Do not ever make me ask you do something twice again," he growled.
"I choose a deputy at three, according to the messages we got earlier," he said much more calmly as he stood, only removing his foot from her hand when he was upright again. "They'll be by to unlock your wrists some time after that. Where's your inhaler? Is it on you? Can you grab it? Can't have your throat closing up on me, now, can I?"
