Who: Lana and open When: Shortly after 9 am Where: The gym
As much as Lana had been hoping for better news from the journal system when the chime had gone off earlier, she hadn't been surprised to see that there was more bullshit going down instead. She'd read through the message, dread and frustration mounting with each new task she read off. It was cruel to do that to people, ask them for their biggest desires and then pit them against each other in order to achieve it, and she supposed this was both insight into how their captivity would continue as well as confirmation that whoever was running this place was trying to set them against each other. Worse, to read some of the things being requested...
She didn't want to dwell on it, at least not now, and the past few days without the sort of workouts her body had become accustomed to was making her feel tense and antsy even on top of what just being here was doing to her. Since her 'reward' had included equipment to help fix at least that small problem, Lana dressed in the workout clothing they'd all been given, grabbed her pointe shoes and ballet bands and headed down to the gym. She hated to admit that the gifts had been good - the ballet shoes were the exact type she used, down to the same maker. Thankfully, she'd been able to find everything she needed to break them in the way she liked, and they were now all prepped and ready to go.
She'd been informed that the gym now had a stereo system, and Lana indeed found it as promised. She browsed the CDs and finally settled on a compilation of American classic rock, and as Journey's "Separate Ways" began to play, she sat down for floor stretches with one of her ballet bands.
