"Oh," she said. It all sounded .. well, like a mess. Her lips pursed slightly before she frowned. "But it doesn't happen often, right? Like no one dies from it?" She figured a zap now and again might be a fair trade if the rest of the house was as nice as the little bit she'd seen so far. And hell, there was at least one puppy here, so that had to be something.
"Connecticut," she echoed. "New England, right?" She knew all fifty states, but she'd never been out of her own so they were all just exotic places to her. She belatedly realized she probably could've wandered anywhere she wanted when she moved out, but Glendale was home. It was what she'd known. If she had roots at all, it was the city itself. So why would she have left? "With the pretty leaves in the fall?"
She did nod to at least acknowledge the rest of the statement. "Want to help me find my room?" She asked with a grin. Because it was early, and she was feeling a little spacey, and hey, if she could sleep in her own bed, that'd be awesome.
