Who: Levi and Marisa
When: Late afternoon
Where: Second floor lounge
It took some time for Levi to finally feel put together. He had taken a hot shower - his bathroom was insanely nice - and then found some coffee and food in the kitchen. He'd taken it back to his room and sat at the computer, scrolling through network posts to see what the fuck was going on in this place. Juno had been right. People came and went a lot it seemed. He had no idea what to think about what he had read. Anger, annoyances, bickering. Flirting, jokes. He could tell a lot of the people there had obviously gotten used to their situation, or maybe they were making the best of it. Who knew?
Looking out the window, there was nothing but snow, and given he didn't know the place well - or at all - Levi didn't want to risk getting lost in the snow in an effort to try and find his way out of there. Especially with whatever they had implanted in his neck. He stayed out of sight for the most part, his body and mind still too groggy to feel up to having to deal with people. But after a few hours, and a nap, Levi was thinking it was probably best to try and explore. The house was nice, from what he had seen, but apparently there was more to it than that. Like a basement and prison cells. With one inmate. Poor guy.
Levi got dressed in his black work pants and white undershirt, leaving his socks and shoes, button down and tie on his bed. He supposed he could dig around in the utility room for extra clothes until he could get into town. At the moment, though, he was comfortable with what he had. Levi headed downstairs again, pleased that his legs seemed to be working much better now. He still had something of a headache, but it had dulled significantly since talking to Juno.
As he got to the second floor landing, he could hear noise coming from the hall. If it was a hall. There was a lot of wide open space on these floors. Curious, Levi walked toward the lounge. A lot of the doors had names on them. Some didn't. There didn't seem to be a lot of public rooms on the floor save for the gym. Levi wondered how many people actually used it on a daily basis. Were they all staying in shape in case they had to run someday? Or had complacency kicked in, along with the extra pounds.
When he found the root of the noise he'd heard on the landing, Levi watched a dark haired woman in the lounge with a puppy. Levi knew all about the animal gifts. And he thanked a random deity that he hadn't been there when the pets were given. Levi did not want to be saddled with that responsibility. At all.
"He's cute," Levi said in greeting, careful to keep his distance. "That's a collie, isn't it?"
