"What did you open ea-" Cecilia stopped talking mid-sentence, appeared to reconsider, and shook her head. Nope. Instead, she immediately refocused on Oliver to answer his question. "To be honest, I haven't sorted. If it's not at least half then I'm severely disappointed in everyone."
She was genuinely pleased with the watch, going so far as to take it out of the box and try it on. "This is really great," she said, "I like the mix of the rose gold and silver. It'll go with everything. Thanks a lot!" She finished fastening the strap as Edwin opened his next box, but she looked up again when he swore. She wasn't sure precisely what was going on, but suddenly her presence here felt a bit more uncomfortable. So she grabbed another package, lucking out when she saw Neptune's name on it. She whistled softly and put the box on the ground. Neptune darted forward and stood in front of the box, tail wagging as he looked back and forth between Cecilia and the box. Cecilia nodded. "Take it," she said, and the process of doggy gift-opening began again.
