His comment made her wonder if it really did get that cold here. It wasn't anything she hadn't dealt with before - some winters in Wyoming could get that bad - but it wasn't anything she enjoyed, either. Still, it wasn't likely they made people go out in that kind of weather.
She hoped, at any rate.
"It does look fun," she agreed with a slight smile. Well, he looked like he was having fun with it, at any rate, and that was nice.
As she regarded her mostly unwrapped pile of gifts, she realized she'd have to get all of it up four flights of stairs. That ... was going to be an adventure, and she made a slight face. It was going to be at least a few trips - three if she was lucky and good at tetrising her things together in her arms, but that wasn't so likely. Oh well. What else did she really have to do today?
She was sure she'd figure something out. Explore the house or ... spend time putting things away in her room. Reading. Something. "I'm going to start bringing my things upstairs," she said since she didn't want to just ... wander off, even if their interaction was only chance because of gift pile proximity. "Do you want anything while I'm up? From the kitchen or whatever?" She figured she'd snag a few more bags on the way back out since it looked like there were a lot of piles of paper around and she wouldn't mind helping people out with clean up.
