Kai realized that they really should have tried to do something for Hanukkah. "Hanukkah's before Christmas, right?" she asked. "I guess we kind of... missed it. We should have done something though, and we still can. God knows what the day really is, right?" She grinned sheepishly. "For all we know, it's summer and we're in the north pole."
She laughed loudly at the idea of gift trading, and again at having mace, and pulled another present into her lap. "We'll work something out, Pam. Maybe you got one too." Kai looked down at the package in her lap now, which was a bit on the bigger side and thus, hopefully not a third vibrator. If it was, it was a really big box for that kind of thing. It was from Kate, and she really didn't seem like the type. It turned out to be insanely expensive headphones. "Holy shit," she said, wadding the paper up and tossing it aside. "These are like, way expensive. I don't even want to think about how much this Christmas cost." She paused. "Then again, we deserve it, and it's the least They can do."
