Yup, that was why he was feeling a little touched. He wondered if Jack had meant it in a meaningful way, or had just chosen something from the Lilo and Stitch movie, but even Marco, as oblivious as he was to everything, knew that he had against all odds found family here. He liked Jack, he decided.
He had finally gotten to one of Juno's gifts when she threw her hands at him, and he jumped at the sudden motion, then quickly tried not to be embarrassed about it. He pulled his mask up again to get a better look at the bracelet. "That's really cool!" he said, reaching to try to help her close the clasp, since she was so close anyway. Though, he had kind of hoped that he had gotten more of this reaction with the necklace he had given her. Boyfriends were supposed to give jewelry, right? Fine, he liked Jack, but he couldn't help but feel a little jealous in that moment. He pulled his mask back down once the clasp was fastened to hide it.
But as soon as he opened his gift, he brightened again, holding his lightsaber toothbrush out in front of him, and practically squealing when it lit up. "It's a glowing toothbrush," he said softly, almost in awe as he played with the light-up function.
