Marco was starting to look ridiculous and a little bit like a child whose mother was overbearing when it came to cold weather, and she was thankful nobody gave him hats. Yet. She grinned at the bracelet, tracing a finger over the word. "Means family." She nodded approvingly.
"I know! I can't believe they used their powers for good!" She hugged him tightly some more. "I can't believe you got me this!"
In the meanwhile, Juno had continued on her quest to open the smaller gifts first, and, after piling up the books on top of Lena's gift, and then the other things neatly by its side, pulled to herself a couple of Jack's gifts.
As she opened one, a gaggle of multicolored plastic bracelets jumped out, almost as colorful as the LGBT flag but it said lovely things. Seeing her given nickname and 'Fierce Sister' on them brought tears to her eyes; it didn't help that the next gift from Jack was a much more stylish bracelet, with a ruby encrusted in the center and 'to my fiercest unbiological sister' engraved on the inside. By now, she was fully tearing up, sliding the plastic bracelets onto both her wrists. "Oh my God, Stitch, look at this!" She showed Marco the bracelet's engraving before struggling to close it around her wrist.
