If Juno hadn't poked him, Marco definitely wouldn't have gotten the pun. Even after, he had to stop, mid-unwrapping, and think about why she was prodding him, but when it finally clicked, he grinned. Her next statement made him laugh even harder. "Let's not get carried away now. Apparently she knows me as well as Kiley." He pulled the Chewbacca mask back down over his face to make a point.
He held up his newest gift, a deck of tarot cards from Oliver. "Yeah, but... You made them drinks and food. That counts, right? And if it doesn't, just make them more drinks and food. People like food. I like food," he explained, and between that and opening up a Star Wars shirt from Kiley, and then pulling it on over his hoodie, he managed to completely miss Juno's embarrassing gift. He pulled on a second Star Wars shirt from Kiley a moment later, then opened a second deck of Tarot cards from Oliver.
He finally looked back over when she thanked him, his gaze flicking down to the book in her hands. "Ooh, this one, um, I wanted to explain," he said as he scooted closer, forgetting to remove the mask. If she already understood why he had gifted her this, he didn't really notice. "So, um... Um... Oh! So I never read this book, but my last doctor told me about it, right? And, um... You know, I know I'm weird sometimes, and I don't know if this will, um, tell you how to deal with me? But it, uh... You know, it might help you understand why. And, um... Yeah. It's kind of a weird, selfish gift, but I just, um... I guess I don't want you to be scared. But if it's bad, you don't have to read it. And I gave you another book-- Oh, yeah, that one!" He grabbed the cookbook and raised it up, then glanced at the two beneath it. "Are these Star Wars cookbooks? That's fucking awesome."
