Tara, Lennon, open
"I'm sure it'll be easier when I've been here longer, but ... right now it's ..." She laughed but let it go; she was sure he knew what it was like. Everyone here knew what it was like.
"Fourth," she replied. "Right next to the ... um. The statue," she said as she unwrapped the present. She flushed slightly when she saw what it was - a vibrator - and shoved it quickly under the plushie in the opened pile. Oh good lord was this normal for people here? That was sort of embarrassing, wasn't it?
"How ... how long have you been here?" She asked, trying to ignore the blush in her cheeks as she reached for another wrapped gift, hoping that was the only bit of embarrassment in her pile. The one she was opening (she peeked into the opening at the top of the paper before removing the rest of it) proved to be a phone, and that was much better. Much less embarrassing. And infinitely more useful.
She assumed it wouldn't be able to call out, but it would be nice if she could do the network thing from places other than her room.
