"It's nice to meet you," she replied, because it was habit, because it was nice to be able to put names to faces here. Later, she thought she'd make a point of exploring the house, determining where everyone lived, and familiarizing herself with the place. Which reminded her about the name on the door thing, so she added craft room to her list of places to investigate. But she'd save that for tonight, when it was too dark to be out.
She sighed quietly, but she did appreciate the honesty. Her eyes drifted to the camera as he mentioned it, and she wondered how many there were in all, how many were hidden, what kind of audio they had, how much they picked up ... and all sorts of other things she doubted anyone had answers for.
"I don't know. Everything. Anything. People ... everyone who's talked to me so far has mentioned keeping things clean because of ... of some punishment. So I wonder what else they've got punishments for. I'd rather ..." She frowned. Well, she wouldn't rather behave - she'd rather escape - but all things considered, behaving seemed the better option. "I'd rather just comply to whatever they're after. So we can ... get out." Her voice did falter a little on the last words because she was pretty sure 'getting out' wasn't going to be a real option. What story ever had ended in kidnappers just saying 'thanks for playing, you can all go home now'?
So he and Noah had about the same amount of time - she was pretty sure Noah had said he'd been back for about two weeks. "Has it been ... bad? Or have you heard anything that was ... particularly awful? I just ... I'd like to know the sort of things to expect. Though if you don't want to talk about it, that's okay," she hurried to add. She wasn't going to ask people to relive horrible memories or anything just so she could have a better base to operate from.
