Tara and Noah
"Yeah... I am too," Noah said. Back in the real world, he'd been a lot more social, but here was different. Here he was always waiting for the other shoe to drop, always wondering what would be next. He had to work more than he ever had before to reach out.
This was a good night though. There were people all around, an event that hadn't turned to shit yet, and he was hoping it wouldn't. He'd been helpful to someone who was new here, and that was always a good feeling. "Sounds good," he said of the appointed meeting place. "If something crazy happens, we'll reschedule as soon as possible." He gave her a rueful smile, knowing that she'd find out soon enough about random events disrupting any plans made for the day.
