Tara and Noah
"You shouldn't have to handle this alone," Noah said, his tone gentle. Some people could. There were people in the house who kept pretty much to themselves, but not everyone was alike. Some people needed support. He himself probably needed more than he'd gotten, but he understood what Tara was saying about not wanting to be a bother.
"How about around eleven?" he said. "It's not gonna be warm, but there'll be a lot more chill in the air first thing." He and Kiley hadn't left today until nearly that time. He didn't mind early mornings, but he didn't think this was the occasion for one.
