Tara and Noah
Noah didn't really have any dress up clothes here, but when he and Kiley had been at Cassi's earlier in the day, he'd found a black leather vest and a bowtie, of all things. It had amused him, and he'd decided to pair those items with a crisp white button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up a few times and black jeans for a moderately festive look. At least he'd made an effort, he thought.
As he made his way down the stairs, he inhaled, immediately feeling like starvation was imminent as he took in how great the food smelled. His first move was to fill a plate and find something to drink, nodding and saying hi to the others who were at the food tables as he did. He glanced around, trying to decide if he should go into one of the nearby rooms with furniture to sit down or just hang out here.
Noah saw someone he didn't recognize-- by now he at least knew most people by sight even if he hadn't talked to them much-- and figured it had to be one of the new people. How much would that blow, being pitched into something like this right before Christmas? She had to be freaked out. He made his way over, a friendly smile on his lips. "Hey," he said. "You're new, right?"
