Edwin found himself smiling again, silently proud of the fact that a true fashion designer appreciated his look. "I'll tell him you said so when I see him," Edwin teased, glad that his own optimism hadn't lead to his own emotional moment.
Emotional or not, he moved towards Oliver again, slipping his hand into the other man's just to touch him without being tempted to touch the jacket some more. "It's not like Cassi's gives you real black tie choices. My outfit's a Frankenstein of outfits, and Oliver's... must have belonged to someone's really hot dad, I'm guessing..." He wrinkled his nose at Oliver as he teased, then looked back to Kate. "I'm kind of amazed that anything that beaded and pretty showed up there, too. Was that one yours?"
