Kiley had survived many Chicago winters, so it wasn't too bad outside. But being without a coat or scarf was miserable, and Kiley was more than ready to get her ass back inside once Juno had found the ladder. Kiley was careful not to mess up too much stuff while they searched, since she knew Chase liked to come out here and tinker with stuff.
She grabbed the other end of the ladder to help Juno, and dear god she was already ready to kick off her shoes and change into warm socks. Kiley groaned when she saw the door shut. "It's fine," she told Juno. At least her teeth hadn't started chattering yet. "I'll get it open. Let's just haul ass."
