Ethan couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, God's probably an asshole. That seems more likely than anything else." He sighed and looked at the fire. He was warm and comfortable, but... also hungry. Especially watching Felix eat this whole time.
Ethan thought about it for the moment before he shrugged. "I could eat. It was probably stupid to fall asleep in a public room anyway with how many people are in this place." He pushed the blanket off his lap and moved to stand, stretching his arms briefly. He probably could have slept another two or three hours, but he was awake now. And his favorite thing to do after sleeping was eating. "At least in the afterlife there's mac and cheese, right?"
