It seemed like Cecilia was taking her time getting over to him, which was just fine. Maybe Madison could keep her busy for a little bit. It'd be decent of her, anyway. But someone else was approaching, which was bound to happen, and he braced himself for Owen or Oliver to just yank him up out of his chair. He continued to lounge in the meantime.
The guy who appeared near him wasn't someone he was expecting. He knew Ishaan from the feeds, but they'd never met in person, and given his reputation as an asshole, he was internally curious to see how this conversation ended up going down. He gave the guy a small glance while hardly turning his head, then went right back to outwardly not caring that he had company. "And you are?" he asked, then lifted his chin as he looked towards Ishaan again. "Oh, right, I get it. Took me a second, but I guess with the desert here, they get local help, right? Pool boy? I'll take whatever beer it is you've got on tap here, at any rate. And a towel. Make it quick, they only gave me so much tip money, is all I'm saying."
