Who: Sterling & Edwin
When: Afternoon
Where: Billiard Room
Edwin had been doing his best to tolerate all the bugs and pests in the house. It wasn't like too many of them scared him, but no matter how much he told himself otherwise, he was disgusted. Especially with the bugs in his room. He liked a clean room. He liked when everything was in it's place and clean and perfect, with the exception of discarded clothes in his and Oliver's friskier moments. He didn't like the line of ants that had started crawling over the far edge of his bed, or the crickets that kept popping up by his fireplace, or the rat that crawled out of his toilet. He hadn't really had a problem with rats before that, but seeing one emerge from the toilet was apparently a specific horror that he didn't know he wasn't equipped for. He really liked the frogs in Oliver's room a lot more.
He'd lasted in his room a little longer, long enough to discuss their situation with Chase over the network, before he had started to get really annoyed by the idea of bugs in his bed. He pulled the sheets off that massive mattress, then balled them up and dragged them downstairs. He wasn't sure how he was lucky enough to find the washing machine empty, but he took full advantage and chucked the sheets into the wash, only for one of the spiders that were living in that room now to drop down and crawl over his arm. He wasn't sure if the stinging that followed was from a bite, or from how hard he'd slapped the damn thing off.
Rolling his eyes at the situation, he left the utility room and went right to the billiards room, and the bar in there. He wasn't a big drinker, not like he had been when he was younger, but if there was ever a time to drink, it was during an infestation. He fixed himself a rum and coke, then settled on a bar stool, absently scratching at his arm, where the spider had been. This was fine, he told himself. It'd probably only be another day of this.
