Lisa studied him - she still didn't know his name - for a long moment after he had finished speaking. There was something about his voice that seemed off to her. Either something was wavering or stretching or... there was just something. She rarely disliked people, and had anyone asked then she wouldn't have said she disliked whoever this was. She'd just decided that she didn't like him right now. Maybe he was better later in the day after he'd had time to eat and remember that he wasn't the only person in the world. Maybe it was something about that hoodie. Lisa had a standing theory that anything hooded like that was bad, especially if you pulled the hood up, because it held everything that needed to get out in. He probably didn't want to know that.
"It doesn't have the Mad Hatter or Chesire Cat or Alice, does it?" Lisa countered. That bit about the meds was why she shook her head and laughed quietly. "My judgement is better without them than with them. I don't want to walk around in a foggy world where the colors are dim and the music pointless. The opinion of a boy who doesn't even get the Hatter? I'm not going to lose sleep over it." A beat and she smiled again. "If you'd clear your mind instead of deciding you hated it right off the bat, maybe you'd even like it."
