Edwin knew better than to go to Georgie's room early in the morning, as the girl could usually sleep well past noon, but this morning seemed like it was one of those where they all woke up at the same time, like Sims or something. He knew there was a chance that she could have gone back to sleep, but still…
It hadn't taken much explaining for Oliver to agree that their planned album storytime should be postponed, and with a kiss, Edwin left to see his friend, ignoring his own gift for the moment in favor of running downstairs for a bottle of something. He hadn't even looked at what it was, just grabbed the first full bottle he saw in the billiards room and went back up to Georgie's door. Drinking probably wasn't the best thing he could do for Georgie for a pick-me-up, but he knew the girl well enough to know that that's what she would want. Especially today, with her two new flings gone. Because of course they would take both of them from Georgie in one go.
Edwin knocked on Georgie's door, then held the bottle out in front of him at eye height.
