Lisa grinned, still staring up at the ceiling, mentally tracing out the path through the dark purple maze someone had so thoughtfully put up there for her. How had they known that mazes were one of the most soothing things for her? Others might like music and sure she liked art, but if her hands couldn't be moving then she liked to figure out mazes. It almost helped her mind, like she was slotting her thoughts into those walls.
"See? I may be crazy, but at least I'm not stupid." Her mom had never found that to be very funny. Lisa dropped her gaze back down when Cecilia mentioned not knowing her and all of that. "I think this should count as starting to build trust. I mean, twenty minutes ago I was pretty sure you were a hallucination brought on by extreme stress I didn't realize I was under, but I still let you in and drank the coffee you brought without checking to see if there was anything in it." Except maybe coffee fish. Are those real? Could be. She was going to have to test that out. But not by dumping the coffee out on the floor. The carpet was nice and the coffee was too tasty to waste. It'd have to be with a gross cup in another place. Maybe even in a sink... Lisa folded her legs up underneath of herself. "Can I ask you some questions?"
