Who: Marco and Cecilia
When: About 1:30pmish
Where: Marco's room
Cecilia was feeling restless. She had a good deal of anxiety that had been slowly building up all morning, and as of yet, no success in dispersing it. In all honesty she'd been set on edge ever since her conversation with Owen the previous day, but she did her best to deal with things as they came. She'd gone to bed feeling like she could deal with it. She'd sleep, and in the morning she'd go talk to Marco.
The morning's events had not allowed such an encounter. Reading that someone had tried to break into Noah's room would have honestly been enough to throw her off her game all on its own. Once again, her anxiety over her situation threatened to boil over and consume her, and once again she'd done everything in her power to fight it back down under control. The message from The Them had added an unwanted layer of uncertainty to her situation.
Neptune. Neptune, Neptune, Neptune. She wanted him here with her, or at the very least, she wanted to know that he was okay. That someone was taking care of him. But if at all possible, she wanted him with her. Actually, Cecilia felt like she needed him with her. She would have felt so much more capable of dealing with whatever was thrown at her if he was by her side.
She had to get out of the house. She went for a run, intending to maybe go to town and look around some more, but ultimately scrapping the idea. She took to exploring side streets, trying to get a better idea of the layout of the town, but mostly just trying to get her brain to shut off. After she got back to the house and showered, she accepted Jack's offer of lunch, but didn't have the heart to tell him she didn't eat pork. It didn't matter. She had no appetite, anyway.
Neptune. Neptune. Neptune.
Eventually she decided she couldn't deal with this decision right now, but maybe she could try and salvage her day. She needed to check on Marco. She didn't contact him on the network first to see if that was okay. She actually thought this would probably go better if she caught him a little off guard.
Cecilia found his room without difficulty and knocked lightly, leaning casually against the wall nearby. I can do this, she told herself. At any rate, it'd be easier to focus on Marco's problems than her own.
