"That sounds unpleasant enough on its own," Jonnie said, laughing softly. "Let alone hung over..."
What had sounded at first blush to be dull and childish had an edge after all. She could not help but wonder what else in this house might be less innocuous than it first appeared. If she had to have captors at all, at least they were creative. Her housemates -- these two, at least -- appeared to have taken these trials in stride. It made them more interesting to her than they might otherwise have been, and she found herself relaxing, somewhat. She sipped at her still too-warm coffee, enjoying that faint burn.
"Now when you say 'tactical,' how tactical do you mean, exactly? Are we talking military precision, here, or just... strategy games, that sort of thing?" She arched a brow, her smile disappearing again behind her upraised mug.
