Who: Jonnie, Jack, and Madison Where: kitchen When: shortly after this
True to her word Jonnie had left the confines of her posh prison soon after dressing and submitting her post. She gave her floor a cursory exploration, dipping her head into the two rooms that were open. The crafting room gave her very little pause; the room with the black statue was another matter altogether. She stood in the doorway for several minutes, watching the strange creation, deciphering her feelings toward it. It was at once repellent and appealing, a combination she had long ago found she enjoyed. Then boredom and a rumbling in her stomach reminded her of her initial purpose, and she turned on her heel and moved down the stairs. Later, she would search each floor between ground and fourth in turn. Now, the rumbling in her stomach and the steadily worsening headache of caffeine withdrawal required her attention.
The hems of her trousers and the bare soles of her feet made soft susurrations on the floor as she walked. She made her way from foyer to kitchen, moving immediately to the cabinets in search of caffeine. As far as kidnappers went, hers at least had the decency to provide coffee and coffeemaker, and she quickly set to work preparing a carafe. She nodded a cursory hello to the blonde man already present, who looked far too cheerful given both the hour and their surroundings.
"Something smells good," she said, before turning back to rummage through yet another cabinet.
