Simms knew that the reason that he had said that he'd ask Cecilia was because he'd been calling Juno a slut and Cecilia a prude. He wanted to tell Cecilia that the offer still stood, but that wouldn't gain him any points, and he was at least calm enough to realize that. Still, this bitch was irritating, and he felt like he was just saying the same bullshit over and over, and it would have just been really fun to shake her until she stopped.
"And again," he said, his own voice raised now, "I'll tell you that I was acting without thinking, and I made a mistake. I think it's clear to you and to everyone else here that I have some sort of anger issues that stem from an event from before I got here, and I needed more help than I allowed myself to get. This is a fucking mental health issue, and I want help, and I'd think you people would be more fucking willing to help me after how much you let the schizo get away with. He could have killed multiple people, but we're here having a trial for me because the therapist says he's nuts and the people in charge have a hard-on for Law & Order: SVU."
Marco, who was seated close enough to Juno that he was able to reach over and hold her hand, sat back and sunk into his seat when he was suddenly brought into the conversation. He didn't look around at anybody, just in case they agreed.
