"Good. I like spicy food." Juno nodded when he asked to switch, holding the spatula in Jack's direction so he could take over while she took the cup of broth and poured it into the pot. "Okay, okay, ketchup-" She poured it in, and turned around to rinse the measuring cup. "Third of vinegar."
This was going too well, if Juno said so herself. It wasn't that hard to measure the right amount of vinegar - the markings on the cup sure helped - and it wasn't hard to memorize four tablespoons: two of honey, two of molasses.
"None of this was exact, man." She joked. At last, she dumped the last tablespoon of molasses into the pot and looked up at Jack. "How long 'til boiling? Can we prep the mac and cheese meanwhile or is it quick?"
