Oliver followed, shaking his head. When he spoke he was more weary than angry. "I think we should come up with some kinda system for when that happens. Like a code. Maybe goin' out of out way to mention somethin' green. Nothing too noticeable, but just a heads up."
He glanced back at the police station, his frown deepening. "And I don't wanna look a gift horse in the mouth, but somethin' about all that felt off. For a guy with his history that was too...easy." He paused, not entirely sure if he wanted to mention it without mulling it over on his own more. "How did he know you and me were havin' trouble? I get that I wasn't all that agreeable when you changed the plan, but didn't act like we were fightin'. We haven't had any issues like that before. Especially around him. Only people who knew we had any problem today were me and you."
