"My next question was gonna be if you wanted one," Marco agreed, nodding. He slid out of Juno's grasp for a moment, and away from the table so he could finally put the baby down in his carrier. He returned with his pack and his little box of matches in hand. He took one out for himself, then left it open on the table for Jack, and Juno, if she felt like smoking, too. He wondered if she ever had.
"This is gonna be a long day," he muttered, waiting to light up so he could conserve matches. "Do we... Do we talk about something good, for a distraction? Or, uh..." He bit his lip as he turned to Juno.
