As she had told Jack, Juno had gone to check on the network for news or updates; there were none to be found, but she had messaged back and forth with Oliver for a couple of minutes before he told her he'd be joining them. After a moment staring at the screen, Juno decided to message 'whom it may concern' about her plan to continue to be in character. After that, and because she heard Jack's incensed and raised voice, Juno walked back out to the diner proper, stopping at the counter.
She widened his eyes imagining exactly what she had supposed Jack would say he'd do. Oliver was right, she had good people. It didn't compute, really, but here it was - happening. People caring about her, defending her. It brought tears to her eyes which she wiped immediately, telling herself to stop being even more pathetic. Then she sighed, one hand pressed against her forehead. She had nothing to add to the conversation, but she waved Marco over. "Oliver wants us to stay over at his and Rae's."
She looked at Cecilia. "Don't- don't take this the wrong way; I appreciate your help and I need it, and I know that, but your- the sheriff is the last person I really want to be indebted to or near right now. I know it's not his fault really, but just..." she shook her head, saying nothing more.
