Marco pulled the sleeve of his work clothes up over his hand and used it to dab tears off of Juno's face. He probably should have just used his hand, but it made sense to him that the cloth would be like a tissue, even if it didn't make the gesture seem as caring as he wanted. He just hated that she was crying, again, and that this place kept doing this to her. She deserved so much better.
He nodded and wrapped an arm around her waist as he stood at her side, letting her lead the way, and lean on him as much as she needed to. "Let's just go, I'll email Erran once we get to the diner to let him know I left. I'm gonna just stay with you, and I'm gonna do my best for you today, okay? Okay. I'm gonna... okay. We're good."
