Pam smiled thinly, shrugging. "Oh, I know you're right, and I'm trying to be there for him, but he's still..." Not Fletcher, was what she wanted to say, but instead she threw her hands up and sighed. "It's fine! Just a little hiccup. Like I said, he's trying. And, like, it's hard to get your wife a present when your own shop is the only shop in town, right? So, you know, there's that."
She giggled as Madison started talking to Emil as well, then went back to the previous subject. "I actually think that's really smart of you two. Like, I know we're supposed to be here for repopulation or whatever, but if you're not ready, you're not ready. Honestly, and don't tell anybody this, but half the time I just leave Emil watching TV in the other room. I'm, like, more of an animal person."
