Who: Rae & August. When: Pre-evening? Evening of the evening? Where: The streets of C39, because a street sweeper's job is never done.
This whole scenario was bizarre, but August was glad to at least have something to keep him busy. Even if he wasn't the best at keeping things clean. Sure, he was orderly, but he wasn't OCD or even necessarily a neat freak. But pushing this broom up and down the makeshift streets of this weird underground town they were now all a part of kept his mind busy. Sweep, sweep, scoop up the...trash.
It wasn't like people were littering everywhere, and the trees didn't drop any leaves, so he wasn't quite sure he was doing much more than providing scenery for everyone else. The picturesque idea of a well-kept town in the 1950s. This whole "experiment" kind of shot his government theory to death, because he had no idea what they'd be getting out of a role play experience. More and more it just seemed like someone getting off on kidnapping a group of people and then making them do whatever they felt like.
Sweep, sweep, scoop. After the impromptu "meeting" in the city hall with Marco, Daniel, Oliver and Erran, August had kept to himself, using his "job" as an excuse to move around the town and take a good look at it. There wasn't much to speak of -- the basic necessities, including a church, strictly separated houses of varying quality, a pool and these nearly laminated-looking streets. He'd seen others, but none he knew well enough to approach, so instead he'd focused on his sweeping, but he was very quickly running out of street to sweep. At least the "sun" was going down soon, so he could probably just go "home," but he had no idea what awaited him there, besides Lennon. At least he'd been housed with a familiar face.
