Cecilia couldn't help but grin up at him as she stood. She took a moment to yank the pins from her hair and let it fall, almost sighing in relief as she tossed the paper hat aside. She stood up on her toes and wrapped her arms around Owen's neck, still grinning brightly. "I don't think cavemen asked permission first," she said. She pretended to mull it over, clicking her tongue and tilting her head to the side. "I'll allow it," she decided. "It's either that or I race you there, and I suppose that wouldn't be at all dignified."
