Who: Marco & Erran & August & Daniel & Oliver When: Morning, at wake-up time Where: City Hall
Of all the places Marco could have woken up, he had to wake up in a closet. If his first thoughts upon waking up hadn't been blind terror, it would have been a series of curse words as he launched himself out of the little room, landing gracelessly on his butt in a hallway. And that was before he realized the extent of what was happening.
After a deep breath and a quick glance down the hall for anyone else, Marco crawled over and propped himself up against the wall, sitting facing the door that had spit him out like it might come back for him. He pulled the folder off of his chest, which had become annoying as soon as he'd become aware of it, and he got to reading, slowly, doubling back to make sure he understood. And he still didn't completely when he got through the first page. He knew they were playing a game, for prizes, and he had to be a character. "Like when you're a psychic," he told himself, because that was the only way he could really make sense of what was happening. And even then, he couldn't really grasp it.
He kept reading anyway. So he was lower class, which, what else was new, and he was married, which explained the gold band on his hand. And he was married to Juno. He was married to Juno? And they had a baby?
"This is confusing," he complained to the hallway as he rubbed his face. He almost surprised himself when a laugh escaped him. "I can't have a baby!"
