Oliver recognized the name August as one of the new people who had shown up recently, and pictured the dark haired, wiry kid after a few seconds. They hadn't really had a chance to meet, but it wasn't hard to pick out the new faces around the house. He frowned again, sighing in exasperation as he shook his head. "Yeah, They're real pieces of work."
He settled again, leaning his arm along the cushion as nonchalantly as he could muster, figuring that the contact with Marco might seem more incidental in case something more purposeful might seem overbearing. It was incredibly horrible for Them to do anything like that to any of the people in the house, but even worse with Marco, and he really didn't need a reason to hate Them any more than he already did.
"I get that," he replied once he was sure he could control his voice enough to keep the tension out, knowing that the one thing he could actually do about the situation was keep Marco as settled as possible. "We've got no way of knowin' if those pictures are really them, or if They're makin' stuff up. Seems like They're capable of doin' either. I'm not sayin' don't be worried, just means you care, which is never a bad thing, bug. But...best we can do is...if Juliet, or whoever August saw, or anyone else shows up like Reginald or Gemma, or Kai did, we take care of them the best we can."
