As Reginald had said nothing to the contrary, he simply raised his eyebrows and let the comment slide. For his part he did believe Simms to be guilty of the charges against him, at least the ones as Cecilia had told him. He wasn't sure this was the best response to it, but also saw they had very limited options available to them. He still would have liked to see or hear that meeting where the man's fate had been decided. That was a subject of great interest to him.
Reginald stood, took the few small steps between the desk and Simms bars, and held out his flashlight. No, he would not leave the man here in darkness. That past the line into cruelty to his mind. "I would conserve the batteries as much as possible, if you can," he advised.
