Cecilia had never been in Kate's room before, and she liked it a lot - but the more she saw of other people's rooms, the more she started to feel out. Owen, Reginald, and Kate all had sitting areas with extra chairs and couches. Cecilia's own room was more on the cozier side, with her bathroom actually being larger than her bedroom. Which, honestly, was how she would have wanted it. She just had to wonder if They had figured she was too antisocial to ever allow people into her room.
It would have been a fair enough guess, anyway.
The nurse's heart was still heavy with the information Reginald had given them, but she couldn't help but be delighted when Kate brought out Neptune's vest. She got down on her knees next to Neptune so she could put it on him, grinning widely all the while. "This is stupidly cute," she said. "Thank you so much for doing it. I really appreciate it." Neptune was a pretty chilled out dog, willing to let Cecilia do whatever she wanted to him, so he stood still like a good boy while she fitted it on him. His only movement was a wagging tail. Cecilia baby-talked to him in private all the time, but never in front of people. She was dangerously close to it. "Look at you," she said, happily. "You're gonna do such a good job."
