The tension wasn't lost on Oliver, but there was no sense in following along or drawing attention to it. If it was something truly dire he figured that...well...Cecilia had pulled him away from his plans for the evening, so maybe it was. He settled into the large chair, only wondering for a moment if it had been left for him because he was the biggest one in the room, or simply because Cecilia wanted to plant herself next to Owen. Both probably, though he supposed that there hadn't been much in the way of consideration to that choice either way.
The quiet from Cecilia and Owen was bothering him more than anything at the moment, and he realized he didn't exactly know the relationship between the three. For the first time in a long while he was more the outsider, at least where this was concerned, and that unnerved him a little.
