Lennon was a happy camper right then. He'd learned to take any good moment he could get and savor it, and this was a very good one: he was dressed in a warm sweatsuit and covered with his favorite faux-fur lined blanket, he had hot chocolate and Juno's company and there was a ton of snow outside. He felt sure it would get old, but he'd never seen snow before outside of TV and the movies, and it was neat, okay? Until they knock the power out, his brain wanted to interject, but he stifled it.
"I know," he said. "I just dunno what to think, and yeah, I wanted to totally grill Kai. But it's hard to do that on the network. She was acting like it was fine, no big deal." Kai had mentioned a party, and maybe he could talk to her then... or maybe she still wouldn't want to go into detail. Hard to say.
