Marco's eyebrow arched upwards. "Like the movie?" he asked dully, finding the concept sort of sweet, but mostly lame, like people who got "cute" love ideas from The Notebook or something equally as corny. He reached for his water, more copying Oliver than from being thirsty.
He opened his mouth to tell Oliver that he wasn't that weird, but maybe he was. He was weird because he was nice. "Can I ask you a question?" he said instead. "Why did you start calling me "Bug"? And you call me "kid" a lot too, but I think that's because you're only a little younger than my mom, so that makes more sense, and also I act like a fucking child sometimes, but I don't think I act like a bug."
