Owen had kept busy since the snow began to fall. He had checked the windows in the public rooms of the house for drafts, then helped where he could. Admittedly, things had been a bit chaotic around the house, which hadn't given he and Cecilia much time to hang out alone. It was disappointing, sure, but they both had to prioritize, especially with the snow, and housemates needing medical attention.
He had just gotten out of the shower and was getting dressed when the knock came. Instinctively, he knew it was Cecilia, and Owen grabbed a long sleeved thermal shirt and tugged it on before he pulled open the door. He had expected to see her there, but what he hadn't expected to see was a tray of food and coffee. A quick grin spread across his face, and he reached out to take the tray for her. "Jesus, that smells good," he said, stepping back so Cecilia could come inside. "Come on in. Everything okay?"
