Despite his discomfort, Marco shook his head. "Being back here's just a little overwhelming," he said. So was their new status, but he didn't want to make her think that he thought of it negatively. He didn't, at all, but he still was feeling a lot of things, and it didn't always translate well. He wanted her to feel comfortable right then, because she sounded blue.
He looked down at the top of her head as she squeezed him. He may have been uncomfortable, but the way she was treating him kind of like a teddy bear was pretty cute, he had to admit. He moved his hand up to her hair, absently playing with her braid. "I still like it better when you call me Stitch and not a miracle," he said, smirking. He sat quietly for a moment, just playing with her hair and doing a quick scan of the room, before suddenly chuckling. "Do I need to come up with a nickname for you now? Like how Pam calls her husband Sweetcakes or whatever? Do I come up with something gross and weird?"
