Well, being told that she didn't mean to pressure him helped a little. Marco smiled back, nodding his understanding. "I like it better with you, too," he agreed.
He took a deep breath when Juno warned him not to get scared, and as she moved closer he sat very still, and tried to convince himself that he was ready to be touched again. He didn't want to be uncomfortable with Juno hugging him, and he knew that his discomfort was more about the newness of their situation, and the strangeness of being back in his room. He hadn't had problems with cuddling Juno the past few days, and so he decided that he wouldn't now, even though his heart pounded and he couldn't quite get himself to relax while she was against him. Still, he took another deep breath and put his free arm around her.
"Hey Juno? I know this place sucks," he said softly, "and it does, a whole fucking lot, but I'm glad we both met here. I don't know if we would have talked to each other in the real world."
