Feeling Marco disentangle himself from her, his warmth dissipating as he moved away, Juno watched him with a mix of surprise and sadness. She bit her tongue to keep from protesting, asking what was wrong, what she had done, but when he sat in front of her she decided to wait. He looked worried, and about to get serious. Juno failed to wipe disappointment off her face as she set the bottle down and gave him full attention.
His request was weird, but also stupid because Juno wasn't a gossip and by now Marco had to know that she preferred knowing as much about others as she liked them to know about her. She and Owen were friendly, but not friends, so it was unlikely that she'd mention anything to him. And even then, she wouldn't mention personal things to anyone else. Juno thought Marco knew that by now, but maybe he'd forgotten.
"I'm not going to talk about this to anyone, Marco. It's none of my business and it doesn't affect me." She explained as a reply to his request, just before her jaw dropped at the actual reveal. Her hand covered her mouth as her shoulders dropped, brows furrowing until wrinkles formed between them.
"Holy shit," she murmured, then gave a sad sigh. When she looked back up at Marco, she had all new questions. "What happened, do you know? And why was he yelling at you again, like, is it a hobby for him now, or-?"
