Edwin nodded, knowing that Kate was probably right, and it was just something Oliver had needed to do alone, but that didn't make him feel any better about the situation. Not that there was much he could do about it now. He sighed, and hoped that they'd at least give Oliver a break now. That was another problem with being the one everyone relied on, though. It made sense for Them to break down the support.
"You can or I can, or it can go on after. It doesn't really matter, as long as it gets on there, right?" He sucked on his cheek, considering his idea for a moment. "You know, since you're the one who's drawing this, maybe you should be the one to give it to him. I'm a little worried that it'll be strange coming from me, anyway, considering our..." Relationship was the wrong word. They were friends that were fooling around together. That didn't make him worry less that he was the wrong one to be giving him gifts to remind him of his husband. "Considering what we're doing together," he settled on. "But if you're putting in the time, it should be from you."
