The grunt was enough, Chase figured, at least to tell him that Owen didn't feel like discussing it. Well, that was easy enough.
"Co-op puzzle game," he relayed simply. "The game'll give us a pretty good tutorial, but basically you use portals to create pathways to work a way through trials. We'll have to coordinate and time some stuff, but it's pretty simple in the beginning." His voice trailed off toward the end as he listened to GlaDOS, the maniacal computer leading them through the game, began informing them of their first few tasks. A few pictures of animals were splayed out in front of his character, with the computer requesting that he pick his preferred shape from the bunch. "Uh...it's not all gonna be about picking our favorite animals all game long or anything. It's just showing us how to target." Though, now Owen had to pick his favorite element on the available periodic table, and he quickly remembered how smart and odd this game could get.
