Who: anyone that wants to go to movie night! minithreads welcome. When: Evening Where: the theater
In all honesty, Daphne was almost disappointed that she'd suggested movie night. Oh, it was a good enough idea, and went in keeping with her attempts at establishing herself as a friendly, social, harmless little creature. But there were things happening tonight, things that she wasn't going to get to be a part of. She was dying to know about that tunnel of Simms, and while she supposed it was good that she was providing him with an opportunity to get about, she would have rather gone along. Although there was something to be said for an air tight alibi. At least there was that.
As promised, Daphne had made plenty of popcorn, and had brought up a selection of drinks from the billiard room. She had a large glass bowl near the DVD player, where she'd written down everyone's movie choices so they could select at random. Well, almost everyone's. She'd conveniently forgotten Pam's. No one wanted to watch You've Got Mail. Their situation was depressing enough for most people without that. Christ, why not top that off with Requiem For A Dream, or perhaps even Old Yeller for the grand finale.
She'd brought in a few blankets as well, draping them over the seats to encourage everyone to settle in and get comfy. If people fell asleep, all the better. She'd thought about mixing up some punch complete with just a dash of Nyquil, but perhaps that would be an idea for another time.
