Cecilia wrinkled up her nose as she mulled that over, waiting until after she'd swallowed her last bite to speak. "I don't know that people still feel that way after the Simms thing. I think that changed a lot. I don't know. It doesn't really matter either way. But you're the one that's put yourself out there now, and you're doing great. It feels like things are shifting. I'm still house mom, but that goes well with a healthy dose of fear."
She smiled softly and nodded. "That is true. I guess I won't tell him about your secret rendezvous with his kitchen. Maybe it's better that way."
